Trade Assistant
About the role:
GEM Resourcing is recruiting for an All-Round Trade Assistant in the construction space, primarily working on commercial and industrial builds. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company in the industry. The role involve setting up site fences, sheds, silicone work, formwork, general labouring tasks and assisting trades on-site with various duties
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - A trade assistant background with a desire to work long-term locally
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work independently, without supervision, and also be part of a team
- Able to demonstrate construction ability through hands-on experience
- Attention to detail and diligence to ensure high-quality work
- Positive, energetic attitude to contribute to a great company culture
- Hands-on and proactive approach is highly valued
- Willing to work around various construction site in the Perth metro
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following: - Current Driver’s Licence
- HR Ticket (Essential)
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence (Essential)
- Working at Heights (Essential)
- Reference contact details of two past employers
- Based already in Perth, WA
- Have the right to work in Australia
