Carpenter GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a skilled local-based Carpenter to work across various locations within the Perth metro area. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity to work with a reputable company in the commercial fitout sector. The role will involve framing, structure installation, and working with doors and windows.
About the Role:
We are seeking candidates with carpentry experience to join our team for a variety of projects. You will be involved in both residential and commercial fitouts, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. While prior framing experience is essential, we are also happy to offer training and development opportunities in areas that you may want to upskill in.
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for carpentry. You will be joining a supportive team committed to providing a safe and positive work environment.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - Framing and structure installation for residential and commercial properties.
- Install doors, windows, and other carpentry components.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and high-quality standards.
- Safely operate carpentry tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
To be considered for these positions, you must be able to provide the following:
- Proven carpentry experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
- Trade qualification in carpentry (Essential).
- Must be based in Perth and have the right to work in Australia.
