GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Welder in Cockburn Central, WA 6164. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company within the Transport and repair space. The job will require you to work with truck tankers for repair and construction during day shifts.
About the role: We are looking for candidates who have experience with welding aluminium. There is also a need for fabrication. Due to you working with tankers, installing baffles and or repairing panels, you will be highly considered if you hold a confined space ticket.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - MIG & TIG Welding skills, preferably with Aluminium
- Read and interpret workshop/engineering drawings.
- Ability to prioritise work tasks
- Set up jigs
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Hold a mechanical aptitude

- Based already in Perth, WA
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Confined space ticket (ideal but not mandatory)
- Fuel transport / Tanker Repairs industry experience (Preferably)
- Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade qualification
