Painter/Blaster
GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Blaster in Hazelmere, WA 6055. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company within the Transport and Mining space. The job will require you to work with various types of mining equipment in a painting and blasting environment.
About the role: We are looking for candidates who have experience with mainly blasting however, we do have painting work also. We seek someone with the right attitude and mentality to join our team long-term. We are happy to provide training when required and ensure our staff are happy and safe at work.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - Ability to work unsupervised
- Apply coatings through conventional, airless, and plural spray systems.
- Knowledge of various blasts.
- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications.
- Prepare surfaces.
- Understanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprints Safe operation of construction tools and equipment Grinding, sanding, and polishing Painting, caulking, and sealing
